Pricing
No junk fees. Ironic, given the line of work.
One per-door rate for valet trash, and the math behind it. Add-ons and integrations are quoted separately. Your actual rate is set after a free property walk.
The math
Do the math on your valet trash program. We'll wait.
Communities typically bill residents $25 to $35 a door for the amenity. Put in your own doors, fee and nights and see the spread.

Estimated monthly amenity spread

- RPMTX per door$12–14/mo
- RPMTX monthly estimate$3,600–$4,200
- Resident recovery at $28 a door$8,400/mo
At 1-3 nights a week, a route minimum applies, so RPMTX prices this one.
Let's walk before we talk final pricing: your final rate follows a free property walk, where route length, floors and access all factor in. Garden-style baseline; other building types are priced at the walk.
Your actual return depends on occupancy and your lease terms. Illustrative gross revenue spread before property-specific expenses and other costs.

Then there's turnover. The pricey part. A single non-renewal costs a multifamily operator around $4,000, and roughly 43% of units turn over every year. If cleaner breezeways help you keep four more residents a year, that is roughly $16,000, before a dollar of the amenity fee is counted.

Contract details
What's in the contract (and what isn't)
Are containers included?
Yes. Lidded containers for every unit, replaced as they wear, plus move-in kits for new leases. No container deposit.
Is there a fuel surcharge?
No. No fuel surcharge, no setup fee, no container deposit, no admin fee. The per-door rate is the rate.
Do you price building types other than garden‑style?
Yes. The published range is a five-night, garden-style baseline, and other building types are priced at the free property walk, where route length, floors and access all factor in. Price my property asks for your building type, so we already know it when we price your property.
Do you price several properties or a whole portfolio?
You can ask for them all at once: call (512) 866-6695 or text us, or send one property through the quote form and list the others in the notes. Each community still gets a free property walk, and its quote reflects its door count, nights per week, building type, location and existing waste contract, with Austin's URO rules applied only where they apply. What stays the same across the portfolio: the same door-level report for every property, the 24-hour make-good at no charge, insurance certificates naming your ownership entity, and a direct number from day one.
Operations and RFP details
- Contract terms
- Terms of 12, 24 or 36 months, and we will quote all three.
- Missed pickup
- Every miss is made right within 24 hours at no charge: collected on the next service night, and if that is more than 24 hours away, the crew comes back within 24 hours. The same unit missed twice in one billing month has that unit's RPMTX fee for the month credited on the next invoice. A miss is trash set out in the service window, at the door, where the crew could reach it; late set-outs, blocked access and items outside the service scope are not misses, and the nightly log shows which is which.
- Cure clause
- If a service failure is not fixed within 30 days of your written notice, you can end the contract. That is on top of the 24-hour make-good.
- Bulk removal SLA
- Scheduled bulk hauls are off the breezeways within 48 hours, priced per haul by the size of the load, with before and after photos.
- Insurance
- $2M aggregate general liability, commercial auto and workers' compensation. Certificates naming your ownership entity are issued before the first service night.
- Schedule
- One to seven services a week, in the collection window your property picks: at night in Austin, and on a schedule set per property everywhere else. The contract matches the community.
- Pricing by size
- The per-door rate steps down as door count rises; nights per week and building type scale it from there. The published range is a five-night, garden-style baseline.
- Integration scoping
- Email reporting is included and live from night one. Work-order and resident-record integration is scoped to your platform during onboarding and, where it applies, priced per door on top of the base rate. Nothing is promised before we have seen your setup.
- Austin URO
- Austin multifamily properties with 5+ units have recycling and composting requirements under the Universal Recycling Ordinance. The composting requirement has applied since October 1, 2024, and compost pickup is at least weekly. We help with doorstep or hub organics collection, resident signage and education, and the service details your annual recycling plan asks for. Outside Austin, requirements vary by municipality, and we quote each community on its location, existing waste contract and collection needs.

Questions to ask any valet trash vendor
Here is how RPMTX answers each question, and what to look for in the contract you have now. Whatever a vendor tells you, check that the agreement says the same thing.
Want a second pair of eyes? Our contract check is free. Send us your price per door, notice date, whether it auto-renews and who owns the cans. We'll find your earliest clean exit and lay our price beside it within one business day, with no sales call required.
| Question to ask | RPMTX's answer | What to check with your current vendor |
|---|---|---|
| How long is the contract term? | 12, 24 or 36 months, and we quote all three so you can compare them. | The initial term, whether a shorter term is offered at all, and how much the price changes between terms. |
| Can we switch before our current contract ends? | Often, yes. Send us the contract and we will read the termination and notice terms with you. If the timing does not work, we line up the changeover for the day the old contract ends, so there is no gap in service. | Whether the contract renews automatically, how much notice it requires, and how an early termination fee is calculated. |
| Who is on your property during service? | Our own employees: background-checked, badged, uniformed and covered by our insurance. We do not subcontract, franchise or staff routes through an agency. | Whether crews are employees or come through subcontractors, franchisees or a staffing agency, and whose insurance covers the person at your doors. |
| What happens when a pickup is missed? | Every miss is made right within 24 hours at no charge: collected on the next service night, and if that is more than 24 hours away (a weekend or holiday break), the crew comes back within 24 hours. Miss the same unit twice in one billing month and that unit's RPMTX fee for the month is credited on your next invoice. If the log shows nothing was set out, it is not a miss, and you have the timestamp to show the resident. | Whether the contract names a remedy for a missed pickup, such as a credit on the invoice, rather than only a reliability figure or a promise to make it right. |
| What if service keeps failing? | A 30-day cure clause on any service failure, on top of the 24-hour make-good. | Whether there is a cure period and a way out for repeated failures, or whether the only exit is paying off the rest of the term. |
| What sits on top of the per-door rate? | No fuel surcharge, no setup fee, no container deposit and no admin fee. The per-door rate is the rate. Work-order or resident-record integration, if you want it, is scoped to your platform during onboarding and, where it applies, priced per door on top of the base rate. | Fuel surcharges, setup fees, container deposits and admin fees charged on top of the quoted per-door rate. |
| What do you see the morning after service? | A door-level report by email after every service, live from the first service with nothing to install, and in your inbox before the morning walk. Every door is logged as collected, no set-out or exception, and exceptions are photographed and timestamped. | Whether reporting is door by door or a route total, whether exceptions come with photos, and when the report arrives. |
| Can the schedule fit the community? | One to seven times a week, in the collection window your property picks: at night in Austin, and on a schedule set per property everywhere else. | Which nights and collection windows are offered, and who gets to pick them. |
